56" x 5" inches plus 5" fringe. This scarf is 36% Alpaca and 64% high-quality Acrylic, woven, and hand finished in Peru. Alpaca is considered a luxury fiber because of its unique softness, luster, lightness, durability, and warmth. None of the other luxury fibers such as mohair, Angora rabbit or even cashmere have all of these properties. Alpaca is also the rarest of all the luxury fibers. Alpaca is also much more thermally efficient in maintaining your body's temperature than any other fiber. It does not feel prickly like wool and does not contain lanolin. ***This scarf is often misrepresented as made of "100% Baby Alpaca". It is an excellent Alpaca-Acrylic blend, and the inclusion of acrylic makes it more durable and easy to care for it.
