- Black Technora Braided Cords by EMMA KITES, made of 100% Black Technora yarn (Para-aramid) developed by Teijin Limited, enhanced by PU coating, providing 150lb ~ 2200lb high strength, to deliver outstanding performance for outdoor applications, to advance your exploration in the wild, to complete challenging aerospace projects.
- PU COATING ENHANCEMENT! Benefiting from the protection of PU(Polyurethane) coating, braided Technora significantly builds up its tolerance to UV damage. An effective solution to the fact that Aramid is inherently sensitive to UV damage. It ensures that Technora can to the most extent, keep its extraordinary durability and provide a long lifetime for outdoor use.
- FLAME RESISTANT! Technora has incomparable thermal stability and can withstand extremely high temperatures. Technora cords do not melt, like other Aramids like Kevlar or Twaron. It just starts to decompose when temperatures reach 932 F / 500 C. Technora cords are your first choice to fulfill flame-resistant demands and for applications in high ambient temperatures, build shock lines, parachute systems for model rockets, or upgrade torch or lamp wicks.
