4. To use 8xAA battery is recommend, support external DC 6V/1.5A power supply. Normally battery standby time is 18 months. Battery life depends on if you are using the camera for Video only or photos. If using it for photos only the battery life is great. If you are using it for videos we recommend you put an external 6VT battery pack on it for greater battery performance.
5. The cover should be fastened after tested to avoid water damage.
